Celebrity-packed guest list includes Jackson family, Justin Bieber, Quincy Jones, Glee actors.
Michael Jackson's children paid tribute to their father at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Thursday, with Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber among those who joined the homage.
Prince, Paris and Blanket made impressions of Jackson's hand and footprints into a cement marker outside the historic Hollywood venue using a sequined glove and pair of shoes worn by the late King of Pop.
Jackson's mother Katherine and his brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie were also attendance.
In addition to Bieber and fellow Canadian singer Melanie Fiona, the guest list included famous Jackson friends, colleagues and fans such as Quincy Jones, Smokey Robinson, Chris Tucker and Harry Shum Jr., a cast member of TV's Glee.
The ceremony coincides with the Los Angeles run of the Cirque du Soleil's new hit show Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, which debuted in Montreal in October and has been touring North America.
Thursday's tribute marks the first posthumous print ceremony for Grauman's theatre since organizers began awarding the honour in the late 1920s.
